Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Seriously one of the worst Pizza Huts I've ever been to. I give it two stars because the Wing Street wings are tasty. That's about the best thing I can say. I ordered the Asian Wing Salad and it came out missing the crunchy noodles and the mandarin oranges, among other things. It was basically a side salad with wings on top. When I asked the waiter about it he said that "they really need to change the menu" and "I haven't seen a mandarin orange since I worked here". Neither of those I consider and excuse for not telling me you didn't have the main ingredients for my meal at the time of my order. I may have been able to change my order to get something closer to what I wanted. Other than the menu mishap, it's dirty, the lock on the bathroom door is wonky, and they had one server for the whole dining room during the dinner rush. Corporate would be wise to inspect this immediately.

You can't get service.. we waited for 10 minutes to be seated at 9:00 on a Saturday night and nobody would help us?! There were only !!2!! tables occupied in the whole place?! We weren't the only ones to leave dumbfounded.

Bad service. Just go to you local mom & pop pizza joint it will be much better than this place.

The service is the worst I think I've ever received. It's a shame because this is last sit down Pizza Hut restaurant in the entire area.

The only time to visit this location is Monday thru Friday between 11:30 AM-1:30 PM for the Lunch Buffet! All you can eat bread sticks, pasta, pizza and desert pizza. For $5.99 you can sample their famous pan pizza, and thin crust. They put out at least 6 pans with an array of toppings. You can't beat it!!!

Worst Pizza Hut ever. They have things on their menu that they don't serve. I order and 10 mins later I was told they were out of chicken. Changed order and every person in my party was served at different times. The last person to get their food was of course my 5 year old. Will never come back.

Impossible to place an order. No one ever answers and when they do you are surely to be put on hold for at least 20 min.

First of all this has to be the WORST pizza hut of all times. I haven't eaten here in a long time and now I remember why. Ordered pizza box for family and get home, open it only to find a piece of a WEAVE under the breadsticks. Needless to say, we threw it all away and felt sick just seeing it. GROSS

Well, the pizza is OK at best. The breaded boneless wings are more bread than meat. The service is friendly, but be prepared to wait on busy nights. With the choices we have in this area, there is no real good reason to go to this place unless there is a really good cheap deal. I went there for a fundraiser for an organization I care about, and I was happy to do that. I mean, in the end it's not the worst I've ever had. In fact, I used to really like their pan pizza as a kid. It seems like kids like it here more than the adults. Maybe the pizza is more kid friendly. But, if for any reason greasy pizza bothers your stomach, stay away. I found that out around 2am after eating here the hard way.

The Pizza Hut is an oddly named food chain. As if anyone has ever said let's go see if that hut makes pizza, or I know this great hut that has pizza. Good Pizza is industrialized and associated with brick walls, fire, and smoke; the latter two are really not conducive to any type of hut dwelling. Not surprisingly the pizza found in this hut is sub-par to say the least; however, they do have two redeeming qualities. The first is that they at least show effort by decorating many of their huts with faux brick interiors; thus crating the illusion that they are dedicated to the blue collar notion of "Yeah, fucking pizza, man!." Secondly, while the pizza may fall short as a comfort or nutritional food, it is hands down one of the most effective and gentle laxatives one will find on the market.

It's been a long time since I've been in the area and one of my favorite places when in college and in high school is this pizza hut. Firstly you need to remember this is pizza hut....it's good but not great. Secondly you only come here for 1 thing. the LUNCH buffet! What more do you want in life then a 6.99 lunch buffet of pizza, bread sticks, salad and dessert pizza! I mean seriously it's one of the best deals ever....

I'm surprised that this place has as many decent reviews as it does. I have been there several times (sometimes you just want some Pizza Hut) and each time I am reminded of why I haven't been there for such a long time. Always grimy and pretty poor service. Tried ordering online for pickup recently and waited twenty minutes past our estimated "pickup time" once we arrived. Was told by the cashier "it's not our fault, the website isn't accurate, that's why you need to call us after placing an order online." Um...does that process sound redundant to you?

When I get into my "fat boy commercial pizza" swing this is the place to go. But their large is actually a medium. And their boxes don't fit anymore. It's a good place for a quick fix but I prefer local pizza

I went there on Saturday about 2pm and service was terrible. It can be pretty hit or miss for Dine In, but this time it was exceptionally bad. The waitress took more than 10 minutes to take our order, then it was a further 15 minutes before we got our breadsticks. In the mean time, she never came back to inform us of any delays, or even to check to see if we needed drink refills. When the pizza arrived, it was plain, without the topping we orderd. I would have given it one star, but this location is usually on time and accurate with the take out orders so I bumped them up. I've promised myself not to go back for dine in, and would recommend caution to those that decided to eat there.

I visited this place last Tuesday evening. When I first arrived, I had to ask an employee to seat us. Then we waited about 5 minutes for our waiter, who showed absolutely no expression or passion for her job. There must have been approximately 6 other people beside us. The table that we sat ate wasn't fully cleaned and the nearby table was a mess, never bussed when we were there (45 minutes) and the floor was littered with food, never vacuumed. Very disgusting. If that wasn't enough I used the men's room which obviously wasn't cleaned recently because sink was very dirty as well as the mirror. There was no cleaning log on the inside of the restroom door that you usually see in most places. Ok to the food and service, we ordered order of breadsticks and thin crust pizza. Breadsticks took about 15 mins to come out and it was the worst I have ever had. Very cold, and since we objected, we summoned the waitress and told of the poor quality. She never apologize for such lousy (and cold) breadsticks. She brought them back out in a few mins only to find out they were lukewarm. The thin crust pizza came out 30 mins later and was unappetizing at best due to being overcooked and having a bland flavor. Overall a very disappointing experience, waste of money and time. No wonder why there were less than 10 people there on a Tuesday evening.

Oh goodness. Went there last night with TBone before we hit PuttPutt- the food is always good and always the same (praise Jesus.) BUT- the service- meh. It was 50cent wing night (is that even a deal?) and they were NOT able to handle the four tables' wing orders. The excuse, "The fryer is really small and everyone ordered wings." What if the place was full?! Then what?! So- I'll probably stick to P-Hut takeout or call ahead.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
